ABOUT
Important Information
Welcome
The FMM Library Learning Commons is a centre for information literacy: a place to create knowledge and information. It also seeks to provide a wide array of resources and learning opportunities that allow for a complex global and cultural understanding.
The Library is fully automated and houses a collection of fiction, non-fiction and graphic books. Students can search the Library collection online, access the password-protected databases, obtain guidance with their research and use resources to create. The Library also provides students with a range of search, note taking and writing tools. Our staff provides workshops on GSuite tools, effective citing and referencing of sources, and research methodology. The Library offers a flexible learning environment, which includes a state-of-the-art “Inquiry Learning Classroom”, shared collaborative spaces, and a new digital media lab that is available for individual use.
